Picture Perfect Confidence - Sharae Elán
Hailing from Phoenix, AZ, Sharae Elán is a versatile classical and contemporary Soprano with a rich background in the performing arts. Recently, she captivated audiences with the Carolyn Eynon Singers (CES) in their production of "Best of Sondheim and Bernstein" at Don Bluth Front Row Theatre. Her dynamic talent shines in roles like The Baker’s Wife in "Into the Woods" and Philia in "A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum." A board member of the CES non-profit arts organization, Sharae has performed at prestigious venues such as Butler University’s Clowes Hall, ASU Gammage, and Hawaii Theatre Center. Notably, she contributed to the VC6 single "Sing Gently" composed by Eric Whitacre in 2020. With training in dance styles from Latin and swing to flamenco, Sharae, awarded "Best Performer in a Show" in 2004, seamlessly blends vocal prowess and dance. In her workshop, "Picture Perfect Confidence," Sharae Elán shares insights from her extensive experience, guiding participants in exuding confidence on both stage and camera.
